Pontcysyllte Aqueduct

Pontcysyllte Aqueduct was completed in 1805 and carries the Llangollen Canal across the River Dee. The Aqueduct is a World Heritage Site and celebrates one of the most remarkable achievements of the industrial revolution. Incredible views await from the top!

Visit Llangollen

With an astonishing range of cafes, bars and restaurants, Llangollen has something for everyone. It's home to the famous Llangollen steam train and it's yearly Llangollen Fringe Festival along with plenty of outdoor adventures to enjoy. It's just 5 minutes from us so take a look!

Visit Chester

Chester needs to introduction. This ancient city is truly breathtaking with its incredible 1000-year-old Cathedral, city walls and Roman Amphitheatre it's a little slice of history. With incredible shops, bars and restaurants it's a must-visit for anyone joining us.

Tŷ Mawr Country Park

Tŷ Mawr Country Park lies on the banks of the River Dee in the beautiful Vale of Llangollen, part of the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Looking for a great walk with incredible scenery? Look no further (Psst, don't forget your camera!)

Xplore! Science Centre

Moving to their new home in the centre of Wrexham, Xplore! Science Discovery Centre brings brain-teasing, mind-bending and eye-opening science through more than 100 interactive exhibits and daily science shows. Its a brilliant day out little and big scientists alike.

Chester Zoo

Just under an 30 minutes away, Chester Zoo is home to over 35,000 animals (including lions, tigers and elephants) across 128 acres of zoological gardens to explore. Made famous by Channel 4's The Secret Life of the Zoo. Its a must-visit for the whole family.

Go Outdoors

If you are looking for an adrenaline-filled break, there are some great outdoor pursuit options right on our doorstep. From Trail Riding to Whitewater rafting, there's plenty to get your heart racing!

Erddig

Erddig Hall is a Grade-I listed National Trust property and is home to the second largest collection of items in the whole of the National Trust. Explore this much loved home, garden and estate filled with stories.

Chirk Castle

Chirk Castle is the magnificent medieval fortress. Construction started in the late 13th Century and was built to keep the Welsh under English rule. If you're a history buff, this is one not to miss!
